I have been getting back to making some of my OWN pics (they are the ones I tag with my bog or facebook page), anyways I have been getting back to LIST! Some of the MOST basic questions are: what do you eat, what do you buy.... WELL I did a basic "clean Eating" beginner list. Well now I have another one. This one is based on one that went around awhile ago on FB, I added somethings and removed others... I seriously intend on doing a FULL one clean eating shopping list!!! Coming soon....

WATER BOMB: Are you getting enough water?

I posted a picture on my facebook page last week that was a picture of a water bottle broken down into drink times. GREAT idea but they used a 20 oz bottle and had the times marked for all day... The rule of thumb is you should be drinking AT LEAST half your body weight in water ounces, MORE depending on your workouts and climate but you get the idea. The Idea was solid though... and water is a struggle for me so I decided I would adapt it to my intake goals! I think 20 ounces is kind of a JOKE so I decided to go with a gallon jug. 1 gallon equals 128 ounces!!

WATER BOMB!! <---- HOW many times have you seen that phrase posted?? Get your JUG and be ready No more thinking... MAKE a plan! Bomb yourself on a DAILY basis with a constant REMINDER of where you need to be at! Best part is you can DIY with a empty milk jug and permanent marker! Did I mention you can put your OWN little motivational touches on it!

GET your HYDRATION on!

TIP I used a measuring tape and did it in inches. 1 inch equals two hours.

Run your Business: Organize your DRIVE part 2

 Back in December early January I posted a blog about getting organized. That is where I introduced my handy dandy household binder! Talk about a stroke of sheer genius right there. So far that binder has made this YEAR rock. I have focused on EVERYTHING I needed to be and it's really been a life saver of sorts. The other day I was "Re-organizing" and it hit me! As GREAT as the binder was I need a separation of "work and home". Don't get me wrong I LOVE that thing, BUT I was thinking how cool would it be to have all my household lists and to do's in one place and all my business stuff in another.... Wow did I just say COOL while talking about organizing my chores?! Yeah that just happened .. I swear it was my OCD talking!!

My Last binder I used template lists I found on other sites, ALL very cool... BUT this time I wanted something more specific tailored exactly to my business needs that I could also pass down to my TEAM to help them BUILD, organize, and FOCUS.

AS promised I am going to BREAK down how I am getting MORE ORGANIZED with my business. I love BOOKS and I am all about reference material, something you can pull out, flip to the page and find the answer you are looking for. I know... in the digital age it's a TAD old school, BUT I still LOVE it...

Here is my BREAK down of every page, tab, and section!

Pages: These are in plastic covers so that I can mark things off or write notes in dry erase marker (specially on the to do list!!)

Cover- Yeah this is OPTIONAL, want it to LOOK fancy? Add a COVER!

Resources- This is a list of my contact info, coach relations, and a detailed list of our groups!

Coach Daily to Do List- NOT sure what you should be doing? This is where you LAY it all out! The "Daily to do" is a comprehensive list of everything I need to be doing on a daily basis. Let's face it, with social media it's easy to get caught in the "TIME suck" and lose focus on what you should be doing. Spending too much time on facebook, yet getting nothing accomplished? A list like this lays it all out there for you in black and white!

Goals List- You should have at least 3 goals per month and action steps to reach them... THESE ARE SMART goals... completely achievable within the time frame.

Challenger list- This is a list of people who have either expressed interest OR committed to being on one of my challenge groups.

Client List- This is a list of people who are signed up with me as their coach, NOTE: this is not a complete list. I have an excel spreadsheet for that one, this one is more for the people who I am in regular communication with, and others I am working with more closely.

Coach List- This is a list of my personally sponsored downline with a check box for rank status (I use pencil on so it can easily be updated. I included sections for my "Emeralds", as my team grows though this list would also track my diamonds.

Contacts List- This is a "weekly" contact list: 6 days a week up to at LEAST 5 new contacts per day.

Success Club/Monthly Goals- This is something new and it's actually going to be part of an upcoming training group I am working on. The concept of this list is to set monthly goals for success club, new coaches, and earnings. You can use this sheet to see your goal, chart your progress, and PLAN to succeed!

TABBED sections: filled with LOTS of paper!

Blog- This section I use to plan post, jot down ideas, and note details to improve. I also note my favorite key words and the "blogger" tricks and tools I keep in my arsenal!

Team Website- This section I have a few things... What I have done to the site, a list of the info on there, all the things I plan on adding, FUTURE post topics, and new's and updates.

Facebook Page- This is where I note little facebook quirks and tips, common images sizes, planned posts, events, etc.

Team Calls- This is where I am taking notes for planned presentations, team calls, and other topics I want to cover.

Training- Ideas for training groups and boot camps, motivational tips and leadership ideas.

Challenges- Ideas for new monthly challenge groups and mini challenge groups.

Marketing- Image design ideas, promotional ads, logo ideas, etc.

Personal Development Notes- HUGE section! Lots of Dani Johnson notes and notes from everything I read. I have serious OCD and like noting favorite quotes, sayings, and ideas the resonate with me that way I can share them with my team.

So.... THERE you have it. A snap shot of my organization... I'm sure this will be modified and added to, BUT it gives you the BASIC idea. What I like to do is brainstorm about what I think are the most important thing in my business, what I need to work on, and my goals. Life is all about figuring out where you want to go and taking the steps to get there.... are you going to SIT on the sidelines OR are you going to work your business?!

CLEAN Eating 30 DAY Challenge: It's BACK!

You know that saying... "Your diet is 80% of the battle", well it's absolutely true! You can't out train a BAD diet no matter how hard you try, and believe me the "old me" has tried! How many times have you started a fitness program, workout, or other physical regime and NOT seen results? More often than not, that lack of seeing the change results in us abandoning the "fitness" with an excuse of "this is not working". Well I proclaim it's time to take RESPONSIBILITY!

Good news for you... AND me there is something called clean eating! Now I am not talking diet, no deprivation, and NO STARVING yourself! I'm talking frequently eating REAL whole foods and avoiding the processed garbage!


Diet fads come and go, but rarely does a dietary plan linger successfully. The "eating clean" way of living has stood the test of time, even though many people are hearing about it for the first time now. Clean eating has been around since the idea of natural health food became so popular in the 1960s. With the surge of health fans working out at gyms, working out at home, and running regularly, eating clean has retained popularity and gained momentum. Did I mention I swear by it?!?

What is eating clean?
According to clean eating guru and author Tosca Rena, eating clean is the right way to eat. It is the way that humans would naturally be eating if the invention of mass-produced, processed food hadn’t occurred. Think back a hundred or more years ago. If it was eaten back then, it is probably on the eating clean dietary list.

What types of food are “clean”?
The foods you can consume when eating clean are many and varied. Focusing on whole foods, consumed in as close to their natural state as possible, will keep you in line with eating clean. Produce, protein, whole grains, water, unsweetened teas and sparkling water can be consumed to satiety several times throughout the day. The theory is that your body will level out to its personal best weight (whether or not you need to gain or lose weight) simply by eating the clean way. There are no calories to count. Simply enjoy the clean foods and avoid the processed ones.

What are some benefits of clean eating?
Many clean eating fans and experts have touted the positives of eating clean. Clean eating expert and “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Eating Clean” author Diane Welland states that these beneficial side effects include:

Me and My workout Buddy Hitting Day 2
The last few weeks have been CRAZY hectic here... We have had a house guest for the last two weeks (not really by choice either) and it's really thrown a kink into my game. If you follow my facebook page I am sure you have been wondering whats going on, I was suppose to be doing Insanity Asylum right?!? Well I did start but life got in the way... I had a little slacker episode and sort of fell off the wagon, but the good news is I am Back on it!

Starting Monday I began a NEW schedule! Insanity and Chalean Extreme, the BEST of both worlds... I am still getting my crazy cardio FIX but I get to add in some AMAZING weight training days to help build and define! For some reason I have a serious Insanity addition, as much as I try to get away from it I keep coming BACK! I do plan on hitting Asylum NEXT but I think I need to get back into my groove before I jump into that one!

DIY Workout Shirt

Guilty as CHARGED! I am a hardcore do it yourself-er and I LOVE a new project. Today's adventure was a DIY tank. I don't know about you but me and white have problems! I LOVE love LOVE it, but sadly it doesn't LOVE me back! It seems like every time I get something white either me or the kids stain it right up! I have a TON of tanks that are just sitting around collecting dust! Why haven't I throw them out? great question... and I am NOT sure LOL, but I think I finally found a USE for them!!

This is a SIMPLE spray paint shirt and I will be posting a complete how to on my blog later today! Definitely a FUN one and you don't need much!


*shirt
*spray paint (next time I will look for a spray fabric paint)
* permanent marker (if you want a saying or words)
*wax paper or cardboard

You start with your design, I just used a simple heart and cut it out using wax paper.


Put a sheet of wax paper inside the shirt so there in no bleeding when you spray. Now put on your cut out and start the paint application. I just used a BASIC flat black spray paint.



Let it dry and then add some optional personal touches! I went with "Beast Mode" you can just use permanent marker. When the shirt has dried HAND wash and let air dry... then ROCK your workout! 


I even tested it out on some Insanity Plyo today and it passed the TEST! Workout APPROVED!












Health & Fitness Binder, Challenge Group workbooks, & MORE

I have been working on a LOT of new projects lately and I am pretty excited about them. Ever since January when I started a household binder, I have had this BUG about getting organized. I am an extremely visual person, I think a LOT of people are. It's easy to say you have a goal but are you really looking at the action you need to take to get there? where do you start, how do you track it, how do you come up with an effective plan to reach your health and fitness goals?

Well that's where I come in! I have been SO loving my household binder and I got to thinking what better way to help you reach your health and fitness goals than to create a road map of sorts. This binder will cover everything from from setting goals to tracking your progress! Success is all about planning and that's what this is all about: Establishing your goals, Planning your action steps, outlining your plan, and establishing milestones and rewards!

The best way to reach your goal is to first identify your barriers, your obstacles  and the road blocks you have faced in the past. Once you determine what has been holding you back you can start creating a plan to move forward. A Health and fitness binder is a GREAT way to do just that! I have said it before and I will say it again, VISUALS really help me. You can see where you have been, where you want to go, your motivation, your obstacles, and SO much more.

Think of your binder like a road map to well being and success! Not all of us have to "wonder lost" wondering how to even get started. It's said that people who write their goals and plans are twice as likely to succeed as those who don't. So it's time to get started!

This binder is my COMPLETE health & Fitness workbook. I really took a LOT of time to get ALL the basic of goal setting and success crammed into one easy to use e-book workbook. My goal was to make it useful for those who are just starting as well as others who have serious goals to reach. The whole idea of the binder goes back to the principals of goal setting: put your goals in writing, identify your obstacles, list the benefits of achieving your goal, Identify sub goals, learn what you need to learn,  stay motivated, & get organised! There are 5 categories and a total of 26 worksheets, and a personal commitment contract (TO YOURSELF)!

BEFORE we go any further I have to put this out there. Just like a set of dumbbells this workbook is a TOOL that will only work if you work IT! You have to make the commitment, put in the effort, and KEEP going everyday! You may not be seeing results in a week but if you are making the changes I promise you WILL over time reach your goal! You have to actively be LEARNING about what you want to do. The excuse "I don't know HOW" is invalid at this point. We are living in the age of information and google is a POWERFUL tool. There is no one plan that is right for everyone. Not every program or workout yields the same results per person, and no food plan is right for everyone. It's up to you to find what works for you. That's where this workbook comes in! Having a fitness binder allows you to track what you are doing as well as what's working and what's not. 1. Goals and Motivation

  • Define your why- Why now, why this time, what are your reasons for wanting to change, FIND your why. Sometime people overlook the why of it. They focus on the goal and not why they want to do it. A deep meaningful why is the foundation of your goal.
  • Goals & Vision for the Year- What do you see yourself doing this year? What are your goals?
  • Goals BROKEN down, Your goal plan- BREAK it down- Sure it's easy to set a goal but what do you have to do to reach it? What are your action steps, what is your motivation, what are your milestones and rewards??
  • Excuse BUSTER- We all make excuses, that's a FACT! Excuses come in all sizes SHAPE and form. They are your barriers and obstacles. What are the excuses that hold you back and how do you plan on fighting them. Be honest with yourself and come up with a plan to succeed. 
  • Motivation- How are you going to motivate yourself? What inspires you to move forward?
  • Motivation Template- This is a template page for you put images, quotes, tips, and ideas! It's all about creating your PERSONAL visual INSPIRATION. Something you can look at when you are feeling down! 



2. BODY Management

  • Weight Tracker- Track your weight loss, gains, goals, & milestones!
  • Measurement Tracker- The tape is where the RESULTS are! Sometimes the scale doesn't always reflect out progress and that is where the measuring tape comes in! Don't rely on the scale to tell you how you are doing, track your numbers and watch the inches melt away!
  • Daily Fitness & Nutrition Log- This is a daily fitness and nutrition log that will keep you EXTREMELY accountable. It tracks ALL your daily meals & snacks as well as your workout and water intake. If you have a goal you want to reach this little guy will help you stay accountable to yourself! (this is one you could use a dry erase marker on, just put it in a plastic sleeve and GO. Wipe clean the next day and start again! Definitely will save on paper and printing! 
  • Calorie Log- If you are a counter this is your SHEET! Track your calories for each meal and add your totals up for the week. See the days you rocked and the ones you could have done better on. 
  • Food Log- You know that saying... "you bite it you write it" well here is where you can do that! Food journals often lead to a higher success rate. WHY? Because you can see exactly what you are doing and how you can improve. Clean eating and eating healthier isn't about being perfect, it's about creating new health habits one day at a time.
  • Vitamin Log- Track ALL your vitamins and supplements. See what is working and what isn't!

3. Meal Planning
  • Monthly Dinner Planner- This is a GREAT calender to plan your family dinners! Not sure what you want to have, sick of nothing planned, need to work around busy schedules? Here is where you can PLAN to succeed! 
  • Weekly Meal Planner- Here is a COMPLETE weekly meal planner with addition space for a shopping list. This planner will plan not only your meals but your snacks AS well!! Don't get caught unprepared, stuck in a drive through line, or tempted by office treat! Create your plan to succeed and stick to it!
  • Grocery List- This is a COMPLETE grocery list! You want to stick with CLEAN food: Whole gains, Lean proteins, Healthy Fats, plenty of veggies, and fruit! Stay away from anything processed! Think of food as fuel, your body will run more effectively and efficiently with a higher octane (NATURAL food), and there is a less "bi-product" build up to bog your system down.
  • Fridge & Freezer Inventory- Keep a Invenntory of what you have and what you need! What are your fridge and freezer staples?
  • Pantry Inventory- Same as the fridge inventory, keep track of all your pantry items. What are your staples, what do you have and what do you need! Make sure when you are writing these inventory you are stocking with clean foods! You have to eat according to your goals.

4. Schedules (TIME MANAGEMENT!)
  • Monthly Workout Calender- This calender is a great way to plan your activities for a whole month. Are you running, weight training, or rocking some cardio? Here is where you plan to CREATE your body! Even though nutrition is 80% of the weight loss equation it's just as important to include regular physical activity into your schedule. 
  • Daily Schedule- Are you a busy Mom, going to school, or working FULL time? Plan you day and MAKE time to take those actions that will allow you to successfully reach your goals!
  • Weekly Schedule- This is similar to the daily schedule but in a weekly format. (I also will include a BLANK time frame one to account for multiple time schedules!)
  • Weekly To Do- What are the things you would like to accomplish each day of the week? This can be goals, workouts, cleaning your house... it's pretty open for you to highlight your most important priority for the day! 
  • Couch To 5k Schedule- This is a FUN addition. Just like most other programs having a FUN schedule is a great way to SEE what your doing! Not sure where to start? This is a GREAT workout starting point! The best part is it's free...
